My companion in adventure is suspended for a month.
I don't have anyone to improvise songs on the guitar with; eat oranges pretending that they are living beings that suffer when we tear them into sections;
speak with an Indian accent;
pretend to be Inspector Clouseau and disguise myself with a scarf and glasses to steal that forbidden second helping of after-school snack;
share a pair of headphones and listen to Bob Dylan during study hall;
draw on each others' notebooks during lessons;
write a speech for a hypothetical political campaign to legalize marijuana;
meet in the bathroom and share the black eye pencil, applying it thickly under our eyes
the way the Indian girls do...
