My ideas about it swing with my mood, ranging from Neville being the one who will kill Tom (and Harry’s power being love in the form of sacrifice killing himself [or being killed by a friend ouch] as the last horcrux) to Harry doing something like Indiana Jones against the fighter with the sword in the Raiders of the Lost Ark
One thing i feel will happen to set the dark mood for the last book is the early death of just one of the twins…. and just think about Molly after have to see several members of her family die (they are too many to survive all!).
I haven’t followed the discussions in the different HP site… i just love to read HP fanfiction instead of watching tv
About that… i know that many fanfic authors aren’t good writers, and that several of them even write in poor english, but it is incredible how reading it improved my (poor) english, i had a english good enough to easily read all the technical books i need for work/leisure, but i also had very few non technical words in my dictionary. Maybe reading real english literature would be better… but reading fanfiction online is easy as i can do a right click on a word and translate it without dealing with a heavy, slow paper dictionary (i know, i could have done the same kind of reading at Project Gutemberg, but here it is where i i serendipitously found a strange .txt file with the first fanfiction i ever saw… and it was even a big contest winner and i was hooked!)
