Pink Wedding: Bachelorette Party
Myrna organized a spa day, about a dozen Bay Area friends joined, plus Tin Tin who wasn’t able to make it to the wedding due to previous commitments. We had various spa treatments and lounging about in bathrobes, then went for a lovely Greek meal.

In the following days we were all exhausted, but we still had lots of good friends around and lots of food to eat (Denise made Brendan his favorite, fried plantains), so we kept going at the share house I had rented for out-of-town visitors.
Pink Wedding: Dancing
Well, of course we had dancing. Arun wanted to demo a dance to Chaiyya Chaiyya. I told him he could teach it to everyone, and he and Menka did.

Lindsay and Graeme set up an elaborate photobooth with a champagne sequinned backdrop, colorful decorations, a gold picture frame, and wedding-themed props. A photo op area at a wedding is a new idea to me, and it turned out to be a hit. Somewhat to my surprise, Brendan and I were in constant demand for people to have photos taken with us — I felt like a celebrity! Everyone had a lot of fun with it.
